CAT or the Common Admission Test is the gateway to the 7 IIMs(Indian Institute of Management) which are considered to be the most prestigious management institutions of the country. CAT is an aptitude test conducted by the IIMs on the basis of which students are listed for group discussions and personal interviews.

In spite of the emergence of several other similar tests like XAT and MAT, CAT is still trusted as a best method of judging the true caliber of a student wishing to pursue MBA. Several other institutes are also registered with the IIMs for the use of CAT scores in their selection procedure. This is for the reason that CAT ensures the competency of the candidates who have been through it, thus leading to the finest inputs in terms of students.
