XLRI Jamshedpur conducts its admission test called XAT, for admission to its various post graduate management courses. Other than XLRI, there are 59 other institutes which use XAT scores for admission to their management courses. XAT has become the most important management aptitude test in India after CAT and MAT.

What is different in XAT from other aptitude tests is that you are required to write an essay in XAT. The essay is considered only for admission in XLRI
